My style of therapy is based on a systemic approach. Through this model, individuals are viewed as part of a complex web of systems that interact with each other (family, friends, job, community, social etc.) and influence their mental health. Psychological difficulties are explored within the context of relationships and lived environments, rather than in isolation.
I work from an intersectional perspective in order to understand how systems of oppression impact people’s mental, sexual and relational wellbeing. Therapy does not focus solely on individual or family conflicts, but also considers social inequalities, power dynamics, structural discrimination, and cultural expectations.
I place collaboration at the heart of my practice. We will work together to identify your goals and the most suitable approach to meet them. The process will be adaptive, continuously reviewed, flexing over time to meet your progress and needs.

Born and raised in Portugal, I am a clinical psychologist with a masters in clinical systemic psychology from the University of Lisbon, and a member of the Portuguese Order of Psychologists (nº27545). After my masters, I took a post-graduate course in political science and international relations and, over the past 13 years, have worked as a volunteer with various organisations, both in Portugal and abroad.
A committed humanitarian, with a particular interest in working to support refugees and asylum seekers, I'm co-founder of HuBB-Humans Before Borders, a platform for action against the inhumane and illegal treatment of migrants and refugees.
I am part of Luana Cunha Ferreira's therapeutic team, offering individual and couples therapy. Since October 2023, I have also been collaborating with ILGAILGA, following the completion of the Advanced Course in Psychological Intervention with LGBTI Populations at CRIAP Institute.
I am committed to ongoing professional development in areas such as nonviolent communication, sexuality, intervention in crisis, identity-related issues (LGBTQIA+), ADHD, non-monogamous relationships, among others.

I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation for new clients. Sessions last 60 minutes and cost €50 (individual therapy) and €70 (couples therapy). I provide in-person sessions (Wednesday afternoons) and online sessions (Monday to Friday), between 9:00am and 8:00pm (Portugal time).
